OK, well I may be a newbie on here, but, as a baker for the big T for thirty years and prior to that at a "proper" bakery, I can state that anyone I have seen doing such practices would be taken for a little chat, to point out their errors!
I will take this moment to point out when we return after breaks etc we wash our hands before resuming work, and plenty of times during the shift anyway.. The decision to display goods uncovered was a big mistake, its reduced sales and leads to all sorts of issues. When it was first introduced to the department, we gave our opinions and were told to be quiet, so we just said No Comment after that.

Doesn't do Lidl any harm and they have better bake off lines.
