Sorry lucgeo but t/c grievances do go out of store if you bypass the partnership agreement which under employment law you have a right to do

Then I apologise and stand corrected, I was told that by a senior USDAW official  :-X

The rules are overtime goes to those who work on the department first and everyone has an equal chance to claim it not just given out to flexis or favourites if this is occurring raise it informally first then formally if necessary and finally grievance under terms and conditions which goes above store level

Care to show us where those rules are written down? My understanding is overtime at the moment is a first come first served basis regardless of department worked.

Is anyone else paid the fifteen minutes premium to walk to and from store each shift to clock in and out? I haven’t been paid it since I’ve started part-time and believe I’m owed at least £500 because of it!

It's not paid as premium, it's paid as overtime

I assume you don’t check your payslip then? Most people I know of haven’t been paid it, even if it is overtime

No I don't check my payslip. I'm the wages clerk so I pay the 15 minutes every week. A colleague who NEVER did overtime once complained that she wasn't being paid the 15 minutes until I pointed out that she received 4 hours overtime every pay day. She was a 4 day worker.
