m360, although not a structural change, we have heard that the staff restaurants will be closed within 12 months. This would affect the staff who use them and also the staff who tuped over. Can you confirm or deny?

I would like m360 to comment on the fact that a number of store managers in extra stores have told the night team to identify good xmas temps to keep on and make permanent. When has this ever happened in January?? Does this mean that they plan to get rid of the night lead manager by the start of the new financial year? Who knows?? Somethings coming down the line. Watch this space!!

 Can M360 post anything they know will happen next year. Dave had a 5 year restructuring plan that we are not at the end of. It follows more changes will follow.

That is just common sense to try and pick a couple of them.

Regarding Xmas temps, our night time have had zero temps this year. That's a first. Although they are saying we are over staffed which is bs.

The 1.5 billion reduction in cost base was split into 3 components that were directly addressable;
Store operating model - 550 million
Logistics and distribution - 450 million
Goods not for resale - 500 million

The graph of projection for this shows a slow down to it's conclusion next year. If we look at what's happened since 2014 we can see store operating model was one of the first to be addressed, so there would be no business sense in keep revisiting it. Naturally with the Booker merger we can see the other 2 reaching their conclusion, so people in the stores should stop panicking.

no doubt it will all be store specific,like the way some stores seem to have no staff,even though the next branch down the road takes less money but has twice as many people

Too many people speculating again without any concrete evidence to back up the claims.

I doubt they will make significant structural changes until they see how Brexit plays out. No Deal would have a massive impact - we all know how fragile supply chains are - and they will, or at least should, be keeping all options open.

Business Rate/Minimum wage rises will drive any cost cutting plans due in 2019. A no deal Brexit will make any planned cuts even deeper
