It isn’t as I’ve just received a letter stating 9th March.

From the our tesco website - ideal for those of us who haven't recieved a letter yet.

Team 5 week 1 – Colleague discount event is coming
27 February 2020

We recently told you our colleague discount will be increasing from 10% to 15% after every pay day starting from April. We’ll now be bringing that forward by a month.

So your additional colleague discount event will now start after the March pay day:

Colleague discount will be increased from 10% to 15% when shopping in-store and with Tesco.com from Monday 9 until Thursday 12 March 2020
The increased colleague discount will only apply to your online shop if you choose a delivery slot during the discount period
Certain lines will be excluded from colleague discount – you can check which lines are affected on OurTesco.com

You can read the full colleague discount terms and conditions and FAQs on OurTesco.com and Colleague Help.

A good time to bury bad news or am i just being unduly cynical? Wouldn't put it past them though

Yes as one of 1800 affected bakery staff potentially losing their job I am a tad upset that the big T feel it's ok to treat their loyal hardworking staff the way they do, but hey here is 15 percent off your shopping.

N*B* to all those facing redundancy, if your service years plus your age = 80 yrs, then you keep the discount card.

To other dept colleagues, who are on low hour contracts with long service, close to retirement but strongly believe their dept may soon be under threat of redundancy, it's worth considering whether a 5th of your working week, taken as paid time off would be beneficial? As once you formally instruct them of your intent to retire, you will not be included in the consultation process, or offered redundancy.

Is it 15% Colleague Discount this week until Thursday?
I thought it was, but I have a delivery booked for Wednesday (3rd June) which only shows a discount of 10%.
TIA

Think you have to book the delivery during the 15 percent period, if you ordered it over the weekend or earlier its still ten percent

Thanks for your reply penguin.
I have just called Colleague Clubcard and they have told me that the delivery note will show the full 15% discount as long as the delivery date is within the 15% period.
I'll update you on Wednesday!

As the payment doesn't get processed until your shopping complete then the appropriate discount will come off on day of delivery

I only asked because the guide price indicated a 10% discount, whereas previously the guide price has shown 15% when delivery has been in the enhanced discount period.
