Post by: btblackbird on 14-04-23, 07:02AM
Hi all,
Can anyone clarify the bank holiday for night staff for the kings coronation, we have been told Sunday night for night staff and Monday day for day staff we have also now been told its Monday for both day and night staff. Confused as in store tv screen was advertising Sunday night for nights and Monday day for days. Thanks in advance

It's all on Colleague help - just search Coronation and it's the first article.

Btblackbird it is definitely the Sunday night for nightshift, you can take it off but you cannot carry it over as a bank holiday as it does not come out of your holiday entitlement or you work it and get paid extra

Night workers (Store Colleagues):
In terms of booking the night off work, Sunday 7th May into Monday 8th May will be classed as the bank holiday.
In terms of bank holiday premiums, these are paid for any hours that are worked on the 8th May (midnight to midnight).
