Man sacked for urinating in bin at cake factory for Tesco, Asda and Sainsbury’s (https://metro.co.uk/2020/07/03/man-sacked-urinating-bin-cake-factory-tesco-asda-sainsburys-12938914/)
QuoteThe firm had to cordon off part of the factory in Hull, East Yorkshire, and undertake a deep clean after the staff member was caught out. The company, which brands itself as ‘one of the UK’s leading ambient cake and chilled desert manufacturers’, confirmed there was no risk of contamination of its treats.
What else had he done ?

Oh no , now I have the movie American Pie stuck in my head 🤮
Tesco food love story's, but literally.
Don't forget the trailers. Delivery's are unloaded and waste is put on, most of the time it leaks and they don't bother to clean them.
Most important of all is the cold chain in stores. Biggest thing that should scare people. Urine is diluted however when your meat turns gray because it's been sitting out of a chiller for 6-8 hours during a night shift that's worrying.

Don't get me started on trailers :o ;D
I'll never look at Lemon Drizzle, the same way, again.

Years ago I work in a pie factory, final warning for one occasion of being found with gum in the production area, sacked if caught again.

my wife found a fly in a pack of in store bakery barm cakes. How the heck can you not notice a fly on top of the barms when sealing them??
Could have been a fly egg at the point it was packed?
It was packed in the morning and she bought it at 10am.
