The odds are high, however when I delivered boxes (decades ago) which held a gross of eggs to chicken farms a row of staff, mainly ladies, watched the eggs on a conveyor pass in front of bright lights, this not only allowed them to pick out an egg which was rotten or defective in some way but also those with a double yoke, the latter they would put to one side for themselves to purchase.

If I helped more than required to unload and stack the boxes that I was delivering then more often than got I was given a box of 6 eggs which were all double yoke.

So rare yes, the fact they made them to a store is even rarer.

If you were using a double yoke to deliver the boxes then you more than earned your box of double yolks!   ;D
