QuoteTesco's plan failed to impress environmental campaigner Greenpeace UK, who accused the supermarket group of greenwashing.

"Tesco is desperate to give the impression it's leading the way on climate ahead of COP26 ... But this announcement is just hot air and an attempt to buy time," said Anna Jones, Greenpeace's head of forests and food.

Can they do more and/or do what they are doing better/quicker ?

forrestgimp, you are not alone in that.
I do however believe manufacturers and vendors could/should do more to change their products to make them 'greener', and many large companies are wheeling out a load of green-wash to impress the populace.
