Tesco launch investigation into out of date baby milk sold_again at store

QuoteTesco has launched an investigation after out of date baby milk was sold at a supermarket months after a carton from the same store made a toddler ill.

All together now, not enough staff, or short time, flexi, temp staff etc with no interest in the company.

QuoteThe supermarket has apologised after a couple from the town went in to the store last Monday to purchase some Goodies Organic Number Jumble Cereal baby food, only to discover, upon getting to the checkout, that it was more than a month out of date.

Yet again. I foresee a nasty incident with a baby sometime somewhere, but I hope I'm wrong.

Dont believe that for a second.

How would a caterpillar survive in the packaging in the fridge, let alone being nuked in the microwave for nine mins.

No way.   He should give his kitchen a good clean.

Tesco recalls 'foul smelling' squash
Quote
Tesco has recalled its blackcurrant and apple squash drink after consumers complained of a "foul smell" and of feeling ill.

we have a flock of birds that just live in our store. at night they come out and swarm on the bakery/home baking departments. they c**p everywhere and many complaints have been made. we are simply expected to wipe c**p off the products before putting them on the shelf if they have been soiled and just sell bakery products despite knowing they were probably being munched on by birds overnight.

apparently pest control will do nothing because of the breed of sparrow.

i myself nearly got into trouble for refusing to put childrens juice boxes on the shelf that were covered in excrement. when told i'd have to wipe them clean and stack them or be in trouble i then whipped out my phone and took a photo of the product in the state it was in and turned to the managers and asked if they still wanted me to put them out. the products were then taken to waste.

it makes me shudder to think they would sell open juice boxes that have been covered in bird c**p and are aimed at children. it could make them very sick, bird excrement can be riddled with disease.

on top of that im sure if something had come out of it and a child died it would of been a case of "so who stacked juice on weds night?"
