Can anyone tell me if rheumatoid arthritis and osteoarthritis are covered under the equality act 2010?

All disabilities are covered under the act and it's various updates

https://www.gov.uk/definition-of-disability-under-equality-act-2010

If your condition affects your abilities significantly then they are classed as disabilities

Let me guess, some 22 year old hot shot Star Spangled SM disciplined your or harassed you because of your disability? You wouldn't be the first and certainly not the last, document, grievance, ACAS,  then ET them.

Most likely is the best answer we can give
A great yard stick to use is this;
Do you require daily medication for you condition for the past year?
If the answer is yes then in all probability you are covered by the equalities act.

Only HIV AIDS MS and Cancer are automatically qualifying conditions.
Substantially limitations of sight primarily blindness and extreme disfigurement also qualify  but are subjective arguments.
