All the best to you lucgeo. I can only echo what you have said and will be forever grateful for this site. Eddie (Nomad) has helped me enormously with this site... he was a true gem and will be very much missed. Thank you LittleNomad for all the technical aspects of this site... I realise how much work it is and I wholeheartedly wish you all the best.

I'd also like to say farewell to the regulars that I have interacted with over the years... and wish you and everyone well...whether I argued with you or not ;)  ... that has always been the beauty of this site... no matter the stance each one of us took, it was always informative and we were ALL part of a great community brought together by a truly remarkable and caring man.

God bless you all and goodbye

Right y'all...I'm off on my holibobs tomorrow so can I just take this opportunity to say goodbye :'(

To Little Nomad you're dad helped so many people over the years by creating this site and getting up the noses and backside of Tesco hierarchy, with its popularity and the numerous members who shared their knowledge...calling out the untruths and deliberate misinformation given thinking they wouldn't get caught out! :D
The help and advice I had over the years from many members which honestly helped me and my colleagues enormously in challenging and protecting our rights
So it is with a very heavy heart that this is my last post...cue bugle...to those who've helped and guided me in the past...thank you :-* To Nomad and his lovely wife RIP  :'(

LUCGEO has left the building...Nos Da I pawb

Correct, someone that has just joined isn't getting the database.

I have the domain name until October, it is the hosting packagae that runs out at start of June.
I emailed the admin contact but haven't had a reply
Can we chat via pm?

Right folks, unless by some miracle this site is saved and someone takes over which I highly doubt will happen, just want to say all the hairy best to you all. Be good, Be Fruitful and always were protection, Remember Hugs not drugs.

And if you are all interested in carrying on the moaning session, head on over the to the Tesco Reddit page, some good stuff there.

Much Love & Peace to all.

I wanna whish all my warehouse colleagues, admin & support clerks the best of luck and good will in what ever they plan to do once they leave here shortly.

As legacy workers, your experience is going to missed and we are already starting to see the challenges this is gonna bring us here in Transport and for store colleagues.

So once again, best of luck. Enjoy your time away from Tesco and remember its not the end, it just the beginning.

That is certainly a concerning consideration.  Any successor to VLH would need to establish its credibility in its own right and not automatically inherit *any* user details from VLH.  Any useful information that could be transferred would need to be stripped of all user details.

Quote from: imprint on 12-05-24, 05:46AM@LittleNomad, I'm very sorry for your loss.

This forum is such a valuable resource, it would be a loss to everyone if it went offline.

I can help! I have experience managing forums, including server administration, and I'd be happy to host this one. Here's how I propose we handle user data:

To ensure a smooth transition, user accounts with usernames and passwords would be preserved.

For user privacy, all emails could be permanently deleted during the transfer. We can discuss the option of deleting direct messages as well, depending on user preference.

@LittleNomad, since I can't DM, feel free to email me.
Whoa some random who just signed up wants to take over the forum and have access to our details?
