I left the company and am due my final
Pay I only stayed a month as the place was ran by dicks just logged on to payslipview but my most recent payslip for tomorrow Friday the 4th may hasn't appeared yet when should it appear thanks
its meant to be midnight im due my last pay from tesco this month but its not showing either
Not just me then hopefully it's just a delay better get my pay that's all I'll say
i hope so since i didnt get paid last month i was over 500 short so it should be interesting if I've got no pay
Same issue no may pay slip to view just showing last months
There's a few of us missing latest slip in this store, clearly a central problem.
My 4th may payslip is viewable now
Mine is missing too
Also missing mine!!
Still missing mine.
Just checked mines still missing too oh well thought they were screwing me over with my last pay obviously there's an issue aslong as we all actually get paid
It must be across all formats, aswell as distribution there's loads missing their's at my depot too.
Ate the people that are missing theirs new to online payslips? Could that be the issue , I've had it for years as has my partner and we can both view ours .

Welshie I can see my payslip for the April 6th pay
I have used online payslip for a few years and I can't view my payslip
I can't even get the site to load. ???
Yeah the site has stopped loading for me as well >:D
Sites f***ed maybe the cash machine will be too.
Page loaded, but a little slow.
Its another tsb ffs
Not loading for. Tried half twelve last night but still nothing. Why does nothing ever just work properly when Tesco does these things?
Mine wont load ,,
I've been trying since about 08:30 to get onto the payslip site, all I get is the website timing out and a check your connected to the internet.
Great they put everyone's payslips online but, can't cope with the demand !!
I've just go on to it and its still showing up to the 6th of april grrrr so annoying
Just tried again now it says website not responding >:D >:D
I give up😂😂😂
I've been trying since midnight and no joy...
Cant get on either
What a monumental c**k up, the first full month of online only and it doesn't work.
P45 for somebody ?????????
Cost saving. :)
Idiots did they no realise the website wasnt going to cope with all the traffic, so fed up now guess we will have to wait till tomorrow to see what we get, im meant to be getting my redundancy plus all the wages they were due me so this is gona be interesting
They need new stronger server. Current one is overloaded. Why do i have feeling that complete idiot is running the show. Company is paying fortune to IT staff so spend some more n let they get new hardware. Oh and get better lane, fibre optic should be bit better than phone line.
And dont forget to pay for electric.
Anyone had any info from the stores as to why we cant access our payslips
I was able to look at May's payslip about 30 mins ago so everybody hopefully got on now!
Finally got my payslip at two this afternoon, simply not good enough you would have thought they would have upgraded the servers just before they made paper payslips redundant. Guess i should have known better. :) :)
Nope can't get on the site, been using it for a while, but first time since everyone had to go online route, they definitely must have did this on the cheap crossing their fingers that the website would cope
Yep me too. I have been using the site for approx 2 years without an issue. Today was the first time I've struggled to get on. Did so eventually but took a long time.
Bandwidth as big as tesco's managers skills :P
So annoying that they hadn't thought that it would be so much busier this month! I've been trying all day as well, not been able to connect yet.
Last month's wages were cocked up so was hoping to see if this month was any better, bloody joke
Well it says on mine i have used a holiday and a bank holiday. I have only used a holiday. The bank holiday was in the previous holiday year and I had one bank holiday left for good Friday. So now I will have to try and argue my case with the wage clerk! Anybody else lost a bank holiday this way?
Wife got on line at 1pm and then it connected after about 1.30 pm ,and then she was able to print off the slip and a few others that she needed , she said it was the first time she has had a problem ,she also said things like this can happen , and with so many trying for the first time it all clogs up the system , she has had a go a few times since and she has been able to do so like normal ,
I AM HAVING AN ABSOLUTE NIGHTMARE TRYING TO ACCESS MY PAYSLIP VIA PAYSLIP VIEW.. I HAVE BEEN GIVEN A SPECIAL ACCESS CODE, UPON PUTTING DETAILS IN YOU ARE ASKED TO TYPE IN A CODE ( TO SHOW YOU ARE NOT A ROBOT) . UPON TYPING SAID CODE IN IT JUST KEEPS SAYING IM GETTING IT WRONG & LOCKING ME OUT FOR LONGER & LONGER EACH TIME.. WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE ??? 😡😡😤😤
Can you not go onto store and ask Admin to help you on the store computer ? And tell them what you are telling us ,
Is anybody else having trouble logging on to view the payslip???
This will be because of server load, lots of people will want to see their payslip on payday, Tesco isn't exactly known for splashing out on technology (they're a retail company, what do you expect?) Wait until tomorrow, it should be easier.
And yet again it’s fallen over, been trying every 20mins since 03.30 today, never get any further than inputting employee number. Woeful.

I cant even load up the webpage, I usually get on at 4am during my shift but this is the worst I've ever seen it. Why cant they just invest in some extra servers lol.
I’ve used online payslips since it came out and it’s great, hardly anyone used it! Then they went paperless for everyone, but in their stupidity they didn’t upgraded the servers to cope with 100 of thousands of people using it and now it’s a f****ng s*** show
It's down as they're moving office colleagues to work and pay, that's why it's not loading. Same for the colleague site where you can access all options
Seems to be working fine now. Does anyone know how many weeks of the new pay rate are included in this months wages - mine has only gone up a couple of pounds?
Just one week, last week.
Thanks for that - you'd have thought Tesco would have implemented it from the start of a new pay sector - maybe not though.
The new rate is displayed, but nothing to say it's only for the last week - could be confusing. ???
2 weeks st old rate, 2 weeks at new rate.
If your off due to quarantine are you deducted the first 3 days of sick pay.
New pay rates were effective from October 4, so 3 weeks at old rate, 1 week on new rate.

No you should be paid from day 1
I'm a new starter, and recently received my first wage. However, I cannot access the payslipview system.
I've been told that this is the old system, and they're moving to Work and Pay. However, I cannot access work and pay, nor really find information on exactly how to do this.
Does anyone have any information or assistance how I may get access to it?
Note:
The helpline number for payslipview could not do anything
Payroll at my store lack the ability to do anything, it seems - no paper payslip could be / will be provided
I was just looked to see if anyone else had either started at Tesco recently and is experiencing the same thing, or someone may be able to point me in the right direction
If this was your first pay with the Company, you should have received a paper payslip. I usually find them behind the Customer Service Desk when they're delivered. Your wages clerk can get you the Activation Code to access payslipview. Wages Clerks can access the codes so long as you have never activated it. If your store has moved to Work And Pay, some stores went live this week, I have no idea on the process.
What’s “relief pay†just noticed it on my payslip?
Normally if you step up or they can’t think of a code to pay your overtime etc.......
Never do over time and stepping up, lol so still no idea
Premiums maybe ????
Hi, has the online wage slip changed. on one system it does not show this months wage and on another it will not let me in
sunshineman
Depends if your store has moved to the Work and Pay system. If it hasn't then you use the usual site.
If your store has moved over and you are trying to access via Iphone the advise is to open the new site with Safari.
someone has just phoned me about this new site what is it and how to log in , if anyone can direct me to it I can then forward it , Thanks ,
Not been paid for being off with covid. We have all been told it was a problem with the system. Is this true? We work in a London based store
For stores who've migrated to Work & Pay you need to visit colleague.ourtesco.com
Log in with the same sign in you use for Click & Learn, Reductions etcetera and on the home page click/tap 'Work & Pay'.
On the next page that loads click/tap 'Pay' (shows a bank icon on the 'tile').
Next page that loads click/tap 'View Payslips' then 'Payslip' underneath the date and it'll open a PDF of today's wage slip for you.
Side notes: the amount shown to the right of viewing your payslip is the amount you're being paid tomorrow after tax and deductions. It's worth pointing out I suspect the hourly holiday entitlement hasn't been migrated with any holidays taken prior to the move to Work & Pay so it's worth double checking any remaining allowance against your October payslip on Payslipview!
[mod]Please do not quote immediately prior post(s).[/mod]
Hi, any idea what the cut off date is on this new work and pay?
On the PDF it says:
This pay summary covers contracted hours from 18th October to 14th November.
Absences from 18th October to 14th November that have been authorised on or before 10th November.
And overtime, temporary adjustments or unplanned absences from 11th October to 7th November.
A couple of more things to add: if you're on a Flexi contract any overtime (I believe) shows as Flexi Days/Nights, or words to that effect, and 'retro' payments are any that were processed by payroll in the run up to 17th October but missed any cut off dates e.g. overtime.

Yep it was for some the last time they could log into the old system ,so new way is
( I think ) on YOUR TESCO then click on OUR BENIFITS then click on OUR REWARDS & BENIFITS PAGE which takes you to One login page ,, put in your user name and password ,,,,,,,,,, after that your on your own since I dont have a user name and password ,,, but you should have been shown it when they set things up for your training on line ,,, first name second.name@tesco.com then password ,,
Again staff not paid for covid isolating...was there a coding for this apart from usual sick code ....anyone know code to use ?
Backagain and Pathfinder
Yes, there is a different code to use when coding Covid related absences. However, there is an intermittent problem where Payroll are not picking up the code. After several weeks of wages clerks complaining on Yammer that they have coded colleagues correctly but the payment hadn't been made Head Office finally admitted that there is a problem. There is no pattern to which ones are not picked up so they are struggling to correct the problem. Wages Clerks were informed on Yammer to check if payments have been made and if not send the relevant Comms form. Unfortunately if the colleague is off in the week prior to the cut-off it isn't possible to check if the payment has been successful until pay week which is obviously too late. Also if wages clerks are not on Yammer they are probably unaware of the advise as it hasn't been sent to stores on any information I've seen.
I thought they were trying to get rid of the wages clerk role?,isn't that why work and pay is being introduced?
It's going to be at least 2 years before Work and Pay is working correctly. The stores which have gone live are pulling their hair out because it is absolutely c**p. When you have Wages Clerks having to do 14 and 15 hour shifts when something launches you have got a major problem. And if you think things are bad now wait until your manager takes over paying you.
Someone said that its the same system as being used by others like Asda is that true ? its not a new system but one that has been used for a few years by others ,
Also that it is a simple system that flags up every day/week any changes in some ones work pattern , so if someone forgets to clock in or if they are off it will ask for a code to be inputted to pay them or not , same goes for overtime you work 1 hour more it asks if that is overtime and you just put in the overtime code or not ,
In express all the managers and shift leaders do that which only takes a few minutes a week , seems simple to do and works if everyone clocks in and out , and they look at the report each day/week to correct things ,,,,,,,
My store hasn't switched over but talking to wages clerks who have it is taking approximately 3 - 4 minutes to answer an exception. This would mean it would take me just over 16.00 hours to clear Friday, Saturday and Sunday's exceptions in my store then I'd have another 4 days worth of exceptions to do. That would take my full contracted hours without doing any of the other work I do.
The system is built based on the Oracle system but even before it was launched Head Office knew there were problems, same as with Scheduler.
And if managers in all stores actually look at their exceptions every day it will be a major miracle - especially in my store which is an Extra with over 300 members of staff. It's not funny when you get to Friday and certain mangers haven't answered their exceptions all week. Yes, I do report it to senior team but apparently its not a big deal.
When the holiday booking goes on line it will cut that part of it out , then those that cause the most problems being not clocking in or out will start falling into line when they don't get paid or they get pulled into have what ever talk you have these days , then the next problem should be those that do not clock in or out for breaks ,, same goes for them ,, You got to remember all systems are only as good as those that work on them as it is from what I have seen in some Express its made life easer ,
Its all new and a lot of people are just blowing things out of context , I am sure some will remember the old Green screen that needed input every friday and that was a lot harder than what this is , and that was a few hours job on a Friday ,,
Having worked for the company for over 30 years I do remember the green screen, it was still in use for managers pay until the switch to Work and Pay.
Colleagues don't have to clock in and out for breaks on W&P because it causes problems with the systems.
The new system will only work if everyone does what they are supposed to do. This includes managers handing in registers, updating scheduler, letting wages clerk know when someone is sick. Actually telling wages clerks that someone is pregnant or about to become a Dad. Permanent amendment forms need to handed in on time, not 3 months down the line. The list is endless.
While the system will probably work in the end its a very long way off.
Are bank Holidays included in hours on new work and pay and personal day can't see where its broken down
Anybody know how to cancel the personal insurance that's deduced from wages.
[mod]Ref: starting new topic. Please read VLH Supporter Benefits (http://www.verylittlehelps.com/index.php?page=17)[/mod]

You need to put it in writing which is then kept in your personnel file. Your wages clerk then needs to send a Comms form, Cancel Voluntary Deductions. It doesn't happen instantaneously though, it could take 4 - 6 weeks.
Blackcat3: holidays and bank holidays are both included in the 'time off in hours' now-your personal day isn't reflected in those hours and continues to be treated separately.
Bear in mind, as I've posted previously, the time off in hours shown doesn't seem to include any holiday taken before the migration to Work & Pay. For whatever reason that data hasn't been merged :D.

Thanks for that ,
In Express they are still clocking in and out for breaks ,
At the moment they are told not to clock in when they do overtime on a Holiday shift since they say that cancels out the holidays booked that they input , Will that work better once staff go into booking holidays on line by them self's ? , since at the moment if the manager forgets to tell anyone that you have done overtime on a holiday shift you end up not getting paid ,
Would imagine it's the same in Express but in our store they've put a few posters up reminding colleagues not to clock in and out for breaks.
Work & Pay automatically calculates any break entitlement so I would imagine, from what I've seen, it must have a negative impact on shifts e.g. if you're working nine hours (and receive one and a half hour in breaks) it'll probably think you're working shorter shifts and confuses the system?
I know from seeing FROG any time off is displayed and it's not possible to put any hours down for working when you're meant to be off-I believe Wage Admin and Clerks can make amendments so if you're off, it's forgotten (for whatever reason) and you clock in you're able to remove any clocking in/out so you're still treated as being on holiday.
Surely with the known issues of Shift Leaders in Express not taking their contracted break Work and Pay should have a system in place to measure this?
From what I've seen on Yammer for Dotcom Drivers they've added fifteen extra minutes for their breaks when working a four hour shift to ensure they are paid four hours in full so I would imagine it's likely possible to do the same in Express.

Ok I have just seen 2 wage slips for friends that work in Express and they have not got paid the Overtime pay on the days that they worked on holidays booked , (Which they had got told not to clock in for)
Also even the normal hours seem less which amounts to about the same as the time they get for breaks , ( for which they had been clocking in and out for )
One more thing ,, was the pay cut off date the Friday the week before pay day ? what I mean is has the cut off day been changed and a extra week added this time ?
thanks in advance to you and 80377494 , seems I am getting more information from you than my Friends that still work for Tesco get from Managers direct 8-)
Work and Pay cut-off for overtime was Saturday 07 November.
NON Work and Pay stores cut-off was Thursday 05 November.
No change to basic pay for stores switching to Work And Pay.
Might be an idea if Admin upload a new Pay Date table for Work And Pay to run alongside the one already available.
whatajoke2019
With regards to your friends who haven't been paid for working on a day they should have been on holiday, this is part of the problem I was talking about with managers not keeping wages clerks up to date. The holiday was obviously pre-booked and therefore would not have shown as an exception. The manager then 'forgot' to tell the wages clerk to pay the colleagues overtime. Vicious circle.
Although, thinking about it, do Express Stores have a Wages Clerk? If no, then managers input the exceptions themselves so
double whammy of not doing the job correctly.

Nomad
I've double checked on Yammer and Colleague Help, the Saturday before Payday is the cut-off for overtime, holidays, etc for stores which have switched to Work and Pay.
So the cut-off for Friday 13/11/20 was Saturday 07/11/20
I thought about just adding a line to the table after my original suggestion. Brilliant idea.

Express dont have a wage clerk as such Yet some stores are still using the Admin to do the exceptions , most Shift runners dont have time to do it so if Admin is off it all goes on hold and what with them having to clean the store now ,,,,,,,, :-X
And yes your right its all down to every one talking to each other in advance to keep things running ,
whats nigh pay between 12-6?
Communication is key but as most of us know the left hand would rather ignore the right hand and then wonder why people are peeved when it comes to pay day and colleagues are underpaid :-X.
@notsofunny it would appear your friends have been well and truly conned, sorry, and been asked to work, when they should be off, hoping your friends wouldn't notice when it came to being paid ???.
I suggest they go back to their SM and query it-and make sure it's down in writing they are going to see the amounts unpaid on December's pay slip!
Found this on a recent communication:
• Pay Adjustments should only be used where it’s not been possible to submit changes in FROG or to book an
absence, e.g.:
• To pay for time walking to and from the Petrol Filling Station
• To pay colleagues for breaks which were unable to be taken in convenience stores
To make sure anyone being paid their break(s) whoever completes the pay adjustment in your store needs to add a note as to why you are receiving a 'positive' payment otherwise computer will say no.
In Express the admin role is only notional, everyone that isn't a Shift Leader or Store Manager is contracted as a Customer Assistant, even if they are acting Stock Controller or Administrator. The administrator typically also does PI/labels, exceptions and lottery reconcilliations, they have it a lot harder than the siloed admin roles they have in superstore, they also have less time to do it and may not necessarily be in every store (some mateyboy SMs do the admin duties to save on hours, more often than not though they either bungle a process or cook the books as much as a Store Manager can to look whiter than white on the costs measure of the Big 6).
This acting bs very crafty way to get c/as to do management roles with sweet fa incentives or pay.Certainly isn’t the company I joined.Feels very stagnant instore now.On a staffing level it’s totally lost.Probably was the aim of late not very strong for the future though.

Yeap.
Someone, somewhere must have thought "screw you" and pulled a cable out... website is down, Inf0rm is down... :D
i still cannot get my head around the new payslips retro. On my payslip it says basic hours retro -£114 then next to it, it says holiday pay retro £114
does anyone understand what this means
Holidays should be booked into work and pay in advance by the wage admin. Adjustments run a week behind so it means the week you were on holiday was not prebooked in the payroll system but were entered the week you were off.
does anyone know when the p60 is online. I am due tax back but not sure if this will come from tesco or not. i cashed in my pension and was told i paid too much tax on it and would be due around £900 at the end of the year, so not sure how that works
P60's have to to be issued by 31st May. Any tax rebate will be processed by HMRC and be paid either by a cheque or as an adjustment to this year's tax code.
Are payslips only available the day before payday?
yes, wednesday soon as it hits into thursday at midnight they are available, and then paid on friday, same scenario.
I know the p60 are not out yet, but i went on the HMRC site and it says
Income Tax for 6 April 2021 to 5 April 2022 will be calculated over the coming months, usually between June and October. Your Income Tax will be updated when that happens.
You will only receive a letter by post if you paid too much or too little tax. It will explain how to get your refund or pay any tax you owe.
This is very strange. Does this mean our p60s will be delayed
It's completely normal.
The HMRC do this every year to ensure everyone has paid the correct amount.
If you have had a change of income part way through the year you could have paid too much, which the HMRC will then pay back to you at some point in the year, like wise if you haven't paid enough they will want it back.
P60's will become available at the end of this month as normal.
Sunshineman the reason for the delay from HMRC is that they accumulate all income received and tax paid from Tesco, Pension Payments received, second jobs income etc. They then calculate any overpayment of tax which needs to be refunded or underpayment of tax which has to be collected
I am just wondering who notifies me of tax owing to me. I cashed in some of my pension and was told that I would get some of the tax I paid on the lump sum back. But, I'm not sure if I get this back from my private pension p60 or from Tesco p60, or does the government send me a letter.
HMRC will contact you later on in the year about any tax owed to you, then either ask you to give them your bank details or they will send you a cheque if you don't.
However don't expect them to be in any rush, last time they owed me it was around September when they got in touch, but was in June when I owed them!!
Very quick to take it, but slow to give it back.
I worked over time on Tuesday 17th of May. Should that reflect on next weeks pay or will it go on to next months?
Been to ourtesco but my october payslip is not available, can anyone else see theirs ???

Just been informed the way to view the latest payslip has changed, although it says last 3 months by default, you have to use the drop down menu and search from the last payday to the present one, then you will see your latest payslip.
My payslip is there now, but they've taken holiday hours for the queen's funeral. Wasn't that supposed to be a "free bh"
Yes it was supposed to be a free bank holiday for the Monday, or can take as holiday for Sunday if you were nights.
Can't get on work and pay keeps coming up 404.

The holiday needed to be removed and paid absence added by your manager instead - obviously this hasn't happened so you will need to get it amended

I can access it. Mine has been flashing to say there is an update to download all week maybe that's why you can't get on?
Did you download the update?
No probs here. Was able to access payslip Thursday and on Friday during the maintenance outage.
I mentioned some time ago on news and views that a download notice was appearing every time I accessed My Tesco. I used to click to download whatever it was but lately I've just been ignoring it and clicking to get rid. Doesn't seem to have made a difference to anything. All is still accessible.
Yes I already had.
Still unable to open mytesco app. Would anyone be able to post a link to the QR code for me to download it again. Off on long term sick at mo so can't get it in store. Thankyou

Hope this helps 🙂
Just a thought - have you tried restarting your phone?
After updating the app I can no longer access it!! I can access mytesco via the website but the app says it is unable to load. I've tried restarting my phone, and also uninstalled & reinstalled the app but no joy. Any ideas would be grateful.
Try pressing on the app icon to bring up a box that says app info and pause app.
Press app info and it should bring up a page showing Open, uninstall and force stop.
Press force stop and ignore the horror message that follows - just press OK and then press open. You'll then (hopefully) get the Tesco colleagues page which will morph automatically into the log in page.
I've used this several times when the app just shows as a blank page when attempting to open it
Hope it works for you.
Thanks for the info. Just tried your suggestion but to no avail. Just still getting message saying 'sorry we can't display the page right now' it says there is an error at their end & to refresh in a few mins. Frustrating as I've never had any issues before.
Oh heck - I'm sorry it didn't work for you. That sometimes happens when I'm in work and the network goes down. A case of playing the waiting game.
Can you sign into www.ourtesco.com. - and get your payslip through work and pay on there?
Hi. Yes I can go onto ourtesco website without issue & do all the things you can do on the app. Just frustrating as I keep having to log back in quite often. The app has always worked fine for me until recently.
I've had to log back in every time I access the app since one of the very first updates. It's a pain 🥴
