I am planning a career break this summer, I'm told that I am guaranteed a job on my return, but does anyone know whether or not they can just put me on any department they like/any hours?

Is it true that USDAW sites are all paid less than UNITE sites?Is USDAW the union chosen by Tescos now over Unite because they don't know how to do industrial action becausethey are tied into the partnership agreement?
Chesterfield D.C I've heard is now introducing lesser contracts...

Can anyone tell me if USDAW is still paying an admin fee to Tesco for union subs being deductions from wages?I could understand that when we were all paid in cash there may be some admin costs but why now the whole system is automated.
As a branch we are hit with that first,then we have to pay...
