MARY Byrne thanked Tesco yesterday for still paying her, even though she hasn't sat at the tills for months.

They (nearly) always pay for advertising  :-X

Maybe part of the partnership agreement  :-\

i find it pretty c**p that they continued to pay Mary even although she wasnt working, wouldnt it be a better idea if they could pay the people like myself who have been working our butts off only to be short paid time and time again.

I see someone picked up on my article link.

I wish Mary or anyone doing the same the best of luck, but if the report is true I felt there maybe ammunition for others,

'what's good for the goose is good for the gander'  ;)

Well maybe not this time of the year  :D, but you know what I mean.

it wouldnt surprise me if the report was true, thats great press for Tesco, shame there are hundreds (if not thousands) of us still waiting on monies owed to us for hours worked...i dont suppose the press would be so interested in us....and i dont suppose Tesco would be as quick to be telling them either.
