Is there any way to cancel an item that you have scanned and wish to return to shelf, or do you have to carry it around the store while doing the rest of your shopping and get staff assistance at the pay point ?

Do you mean scan as you shop?
Then yes, you can remove items via your scanner that you don't want anymore. Staff at the pay point will also be able to do it at the end for you.

Select remove on the handset using one of the buttons, then scan the item you want to remove, hey presto, done.

I have never used the things myself, I prefer a manned till. Customers often get in a fiddle so I show them how, it is simples really.

As poster above says, press the button that is marked remove and scan and that's it.

If you can't do it, a colleague on the shop floor should be able to help you and if not it can be done at the end via the tills, however do keep the item to the side, as it saves you then spending 10 years trying to find it at the checkout
