in my opinion, It will be when the school holidays finish, and all SM's are back from their expensive trips abroad.

I have been told our store will be winding down the nightshift operation and taking on alot of dayshift to fill the store. There will then be less need for night managers. If store is to lose a night manager last in the door will be first to go unless anyone wants to volunteer. This is partly due to the decrease in guard hours. They want GAs on the shopfloor to deter shoplifter and to assist customers.

How does that work when the most recent training tells you to stay away from someone you suspect to be shop lifting and not to intervene if they walk out the door with something?

Was under the impression it was going as it’s changing to an always on feedback system ala the customer comments.

Wmty has been cancelled, new system is coming to allow staff to provide feedback more often.

Colleague listening update

We shared with you earlier in the year that we’re moving away from the previous format of the What Matters To You? surveys. With strong results in January and over the last few years, we want to evolve how we listen to colleagues. This will allow us to be more timely and responsive to feedback and therefore to drive more focused action. For now we will not be asking you to complete a survey this summer.
How we listen to colleagues will look and feel different and will continue to feed into the Big 6. Colleagues from across the business are helping design and test a new approach, and we’ll share further details with you in the coming months.

In the meantime, please continue to use everyday opportunities to listen and share your feedback.

They probably didn't like what they heard and so have decided to find a way to ensure that they get the answers that they want. It's called listening to staff without actually listening to them and then doing something about problems, without actually doing anything about them.
