There will always be different things going on in different store. There is a store at head office that is trailing an app on your own phone for shopping. Even so, I can't see this going wider as most customer theft is through self service or scan as you shop.

I have that app on my phone, I seem to have downloaded it when they mistakenly let me. I tried to use it and there was no bar code to read in my store so it would work when I emailed and asked about it they seemed surprised I had even heard of it let alone had the app.

As far as I'm aware the app trial is in this one store and only for colleagues.

yeah, it's being tested in one store from what I can find of it, hasn't been released to anywhere else yet, pretty much just a quicker escape route I guess for shoppers rather than the scan as you shop tills?
