Where did you hear this from??

This is not accurate, at least for Large Stores, maybe different in convenience!

Yeah agree how would reductions be done at checkouts they are always trying to speed that process up
Also customers would not buy it without a yellow  label on, not in my store anyway..

Administrator Comment Not sure why another thread has been started on restructuring. I have re-titled it to be for J14 only, please keep it to that.

VLH Supporters can if they wish start topics for specific areas but please define it in the titled of the topic.

A large volume of reduction shoppers seek out yellow labels and I think it will be hard to change the customer mindset.  However, I think a key part of the government reducing  food waste strategy is to remove dates from as much as possible.

Less dates (already quite common area Produce) will lead to less hours on PR.

We got told that they are trialling date code embedded barcodes, but for now the only PR change is a reduction in the amount of hours for the produce scan, which is expected due a large amount of the products having dates removed.

Where can we find this information about Job numbers ? Is the Job Code reference on payslip the same ?

No it’s old school terminology! The job ‘codes’ don’t actually exist, if you were with company for a long time it’s how the routines were described.

You will not find any details about ‘job codes’ as they don’t exist anymore

Job14 is the okd name for potential reductions. Its old school terminology and no task or routine in store now is allocated a number.

This is altogether separate to the codes on payslips.

Tornado.
The job codes are changing, there is no change to pay or responsibilities, just a change to the codes. The one on your payslip is your current job code, it will change if you are one of the affected colleagues. . In my store there were only about 40 colleagues affected.
