We get paid as normal on 3rd May. So I believe, outstanding payments for Pay Period Friday 26th April till 11th May will be paid on 31st May, along with bonus, and all redundancy elements, including Payment in Lieu of Notice. Notice does not have to be worked, so yes you don’t have to work any notice period, but will be paid for it (that will start Sunday 12th of May).

So are you saying that people will leave on the 11th May but be paid for the period 12-31st May on their contracted hours.

If so, what about the colleagues choosing to do a 4 week trial period, is this period being paid seperately, as the hours they are working will be a drop in both hours and pay ???

There is no trial period this time. If it’s been offered it shouldn’t of been.

Sorry Lucgeo, I’m probably not being very clear....As people leave on 11th May, the company will owe us outstanding salary for the period 26 April to 11 May, but this obviously doesn’t fit in with the usual 4 weekly pay periods, so will have to paid in the 31 May pay packet. Yet P.I.L.O.N payments can’t start till 12 May. So paid up to 11th May in salary only. The remainder of the period wouldn’t be paid, but would be offset by P.I.L.O.N

So I guess that in the event of a trial being offered people will get paid for the time they worked on the new hours from 12 May, but if later deemed unsuitable, redundancy would revert back to the original figure after the 4 weeks is up.

Pay on 3rd May is basic pay up to 4th May so only overtime from 26th April would be due for dates between 26th April-4th May .

If your last day is the 11Th of May and you do a ot shift on nights on the 11th would they still pay you ot for that night?

Can anybody please confirm that ASP or Additional Service Pay is calculated on the 12 week average or contractual pay which ever is the higher.  Just realised that my schedule shows a figure based on contractual pay of just 15 hours when i work an average of 30 hours a week.  Also will pay in lieu be based on these figures

WombatMatt, yes 12 week average (cut off date 25th April, working back 12 weeks). This has been confirmed. Ignore the illustration on the redundancy schedule, this will be amended once the official figures are run. It applies to ASP and Statutory, not sure about P.I.L.O.N.

May be worth working out your average pay over the last two pay periods as well as the forthcoming May 3rd one, and running it through the redundancy calculator so you can get an idea of what you should be entitled to.

PILON will be your contracted hours only as you will not working any overtime in the notice period as your not working the notice..

@overworked1. Nobody should be assigned to a role on a flexi contract as agreed in Collective Consultation, as it would be a break in terms and conditions. The only way somebody could be put on a flexi contract would be if the individual applied for a job on flexi contract terms, but this CAN NOT be enforced upon them.

Anyone heard anything about collective consultation being completed yet? They were meant to have a meeting on Tuesday to complete it yet I've not heard anything yet on the our Tesco updates page
