Is this just a rumor you heard or actual fact that your store is loosing it's nights?

I've heard the next cull is February. I just wish that they'd tell us instead of keeping us dangling. Tossco are an utter disgrace. If it does happen, I vow never to shop in one again. I've wasted a decade for this hellhole thinking that I have a job for life. That is obviously not the case anymore.

It would be extremely unlikely that your night manager would know that your losing a night team this early!
The SM/PM won't know till afew weeks before and they will definitely not tell the night manager till the official date!
Also the SD will need to be told first and they haven't been to any briefings yet!
Its most likely his opinion and wishful thinking!
My night manager has been saying for 12 months that my store is losing its night team next period!
Guess what we haven't lost our night team yet!

More scaremongering from someone who should know better!

As an  ex night manager in a store that went in November I can confirm our PM & SM were called to a meeting 2 weeks before the night team were told. Obvious signs they have being briefed are PM & compliance manager locking themselves in an office to work on the heat map and job roles.
I was briefed at 10pm by my SM & PM, rest of colleagues were briefed at 11pm

I'm not doubting the source but having friends in Birmingham stores they informed me they went back in November, they have 6 maybe 7 stores on twilight fill now, there's been no announcement on future stores moving to twilight.

Its a worrying time for those dependant on there jobs, and managers shouldn't be speculating about these things. Best bet is its not true until your SM tells you direct with the PM as witness as that's the start of consultation.

nobody knows anything at this point, there have not been any meetings etc as of yet, no night mangers will know anything at all, maybe nothing will happen at all with the shambles of the stores that have already lost there night fills being a good sign, but then again it is all about putting it right on paper, tesco can't make any more money that they are, so its all about saving money!

This is just silly scaremongering. The only definitive way of knowing  is when officially told.

My thoughts exactly John, I can find no evidence anywhere of £1m stores losing a night operation. Have to say the doom mongering without any facts is becoming tiresome.

moving nightshift onto days is the reason given in writing for redundancy of night fill position. Truth is Ten a penny co are cost cutting to make their profits look good.
