Is it just me or has anyone else had the plastic security loop break within a couple of days of being used?  They literally crumbled in my fingers as I clipped my keyring on it.  Fortunately I had some big metal keyrings to replace the loop with.

I don't bother with it myself but, like the rest of the uniform, it doesn't appear to be of the best quality so I'm not surprised they break so easily.

Back when I was T/L i used to have my keys, both sets of S/S keys, Direct Key, Stamp machine Keys, Entertainment keys and often the W&S Key danging off them. Quite a heavy wod of keys tbh! Still working fine and dandy Tongue Think I should probably count myself lucky!

My loop is ok, but every pair of my formal trousers (not combat) the hem has come undone within 2 wearings. Also, as i work on H&B I get small spillages of shampoo/shower gels etc on my polo shirts which after numerous washes look like dark stains. Never had this problem with the check shirts and nylon patterned blouses.

Or a duff three?  Sad

I did wonder if it was because of the way I washed them but one of the three pairs I had never worn or washed and that was the same.

I've had my current pairs of trousers for about 3 months, 1 pair has it still intact, 1 has gone missing and 1 has broken in half Shocked. It may depend how they're been washed.

I know what yo mean about the key loops - I gave up on mine a long time ago. Also be wary about the seams on the formal trousers - if you carry stuff in the pockets, (the usual, phone, pens, all those annoying to-do notes) the seams tend to split down the side! I've sewn three pairs up, and many of my staff and colleagues have too! They're fine until you use the pockets...

its not helped by the fact that you have to pay for replacements when they fall to bits after a few months - quality is shocking

I think some of you girls put too much strain on the seams of the uniform trousers....from what I've seen! Order a size larger, is my advice, if you want them to last....and spoil the lads fun!  Shocked Tongue Huh? Kiss Embarrassed Wink Grin

Bum bag?
I used to use a bum bag but when the last one fell apart I could not find one that is just the right size.  I am very Goldilocks when it comes to bum bags - at last count I have five of various sizes for various uses and that was after freecycling a couple.  But ... saw one today while out shopping which may suit.  It is actually a belt-holster type so need to check that the belt I use for work will fit the loops and be a snug fit.  Nothing worse than a saggy holster bumping your hip while you are working.

Uniforms are at a standstill because the suppliers have gone bust, so yet again another triumph for Stresco, why use a reputable good company that might cost a little more, when you can get a dodgy cheap company to supply you with dodgy cheap uniforms of shoddy quality. Surprised they didn't use the value range because it was much better than what they picked.
