So the day has just started and it's 4.30am phones just gone off and slightly groggy I answer, it's my lift making sure I'm up. An hour later i'm up with a Luke warm cup of coffee outside the local garage awaiting being picked up.
Clocked in with cash office keys in hand it's now 6am
So after counting the safe its now 20 past 6 (the safe wrong from a miss calculation from my so called colleague (that should have corrected it the night before) so now walking down front end, you would have like to think that when you have over 6 grand in a safe that security would have walked with you but then after a heavy night sleeping you have to ask him to wake up so you can get in to the kiosk to start the safe run.
Its now 7am and after having to get my GA, off a till, to go back to supporting me with change run.. oh no got to worry about I don't Queue so had to put her on a till and continue on my own with the safe we now waiting for my manager knowing that when she walks in she'll do her normal (ignore her supervisor and ignore front end)
Its now 9am and you have had to call "SERVICE 1" get staff to a till but yet again no-one turned up and had to send a member of staff to the garage (because they got sickness) then take a ripping off from senior team because "you haven't covered the overtime" try explain the situation of garage only to be told that's not an excuse.
10.30 finally get a break (remembering that it's 45 mins over the legal limit of not having a break) tell my manager, who tells me that I got to be ready for the 11 o'clock meeting, tell her its my ½ hour can she get the information herself, to which I'm told "when I was on options I had to make sacrifices!!" to which I reply I'm not on options!!
11am meeting blamed for the fact that due to giving staff to garage I'm responsible for us failing the past 2 hours - oh and being blamed for failing yesterday even though it was my day off..
11.30 lunch sit down with food then get lectured by GA's about the fact that we calling them on days off about overtime (knowing full well its harassment)
12.30 Pulled into office for my weekly review (shocking that this has been the first one in 3 months) and told that I, and I quote, "am unprofessional with my attitude because I refuse to ring staff at home"
hmmm isn't that harassment ???
Well its now time to go home after another day from hell!!!!
Been bullied into working later than 3pm AGAIN
So it's now 6pm again. Just walked out the door
Front end Team Leader at our store stay a G.A. lot less hassle and be treated like a human, I hope that was just the experience in my store and I was just unlucky
