QuoteA woman has been left "horrified" after finding at least 30 insects inside a bag of Tesco's own-brand rice.

Jade Whittaker found the bugs - some of which were hatching eggs - in the sealed bag on Monday after buying it from a store in Blackburn, Lancashire.

Seems they have bugs elsewhere other than the banking sector.

If the bugs were live in the rice, at least you know the rice was fresh lol

QuoteThe Chicken tikka Masala, which comes with a warning that it may contain whole spices which should be removed prior to consumption, came with something else extra - an entire J-cloth.

Not a bit of the cloth, or a stray piece of material, but the entire cloth which was vacuum sealed in the meal.

this 'splinter' group thing, I can't see it myself; I think your barking up the wrong tree. but it woodn't be the first time I was wrong. I think that 'special branch' wood be better off leafing it to normal police. I think that out of goodwill tesco should send the girl to a spa for rest and recuperation after the ordeal. Or maybe one of those holiday centre escapes.

also where are the teenage mutant ninja turtles during all of this.

Tesco shopper horrified after finding 'wriggling worm' in her salad

QuoteA HORRIFIED woman discovered a WORM in a salad from Tesco just before taking a bite and claims she was offered just £1 compensation for the disgusting experience.

Katie Sapiano was left fuming after she found the wriggly creature in a Simple Salad pot which was purchased today from a Tesco Express store.

No doubt they'll worm their way out of this one.

( Why does it appear posed modelling photos have been used  ???  )

A MUM was left retching when she bit into a Tesco apricot to find it teeming with MAGGOTS, Shocked Holly Griffin had only bought the fruit hours earlier at a store in Shepton Mallets, Somerset

Quote"I actually tried to make myself sick in the toilet," she told The Sun. "I was worried it could have poisoned me."

Mum-of-two Holly added: "I cut open another one and it was completely rotten inside. I chucked them in the bin right away.

It was just horrible. I don't know how Tesco can sell food like that. Their quality control must not be very good.

"I've got two children, a four-year-old and a seven-month-old. It could have made them or anyone else very sick if they had eaten them. It's just not right."

QuoteA horrified Londoner was left fearing for his health after discovering a dead rodent in a salad mix he bought from Tesco, after accidently putting it in his mouth.

The architect was eating dinner when he found the creature, believed to be a shrew, in his mixed-leaf 'ready to eat' salad on Monday evening.

Yuck  similar incidents seem to be happening more often of late.

Clearly a compensation claim in the making - I'm sorry but how can you "accidentally " put something the size of a shrew in your mouth
