QuoteTesco has given £60 in vouchers and some chocolate to a Hampshire family who say they found an e-cigarette in a box of chicken Kievs.

"Many people we've spoken to have had the impression that perhaps a disgruntled employer at the factory had planted it there, as it's not the kind of object to coincidentally fall into a box."

Ross Lee, 37, said he bought a pack of buns in a Tesco store in Gorton, Manchester on Friday morning, and tucked in with friends and family before travelling back home in Harrogate.

Ross said that a friend's son made the discovery.

That's one that stopped rolling.

Mum-of-two claims she found used condom with hairs attached in her Tesco kale – but the store denies it

QuoteTesco say an internal investigation has proven the "foreign object" could not have slipped through the net or survived the manufacturing process.

Tesco's said the condom would not have made it through the quality control process

QuoteThe company also claim that it is "highly unlikely" that Chrissie was a victim of malicious contamination due to their "highly trained and committed happy workforce".
"highly unlikely" = it is therefore a  possibility.  "highly trained and committed happy workforce" who are they trying to kid, Oh yea us.

Quote"From this we concluded that the item could not have survived our rigorous quality processes.

Well which is it "could not" or highly unlikely"   8-)  8-)

"if she had not seen the Bugs , she was not going to wash it  :o,  just boil and serve to her few   month old  8-)"
QuoteAt first I noticed a few bugs on the broccoli and on the kitchen counter, so thought I'd just wash the broccoli and that would be enough.

The above does not automatically suggest she was not going to wash it, it could also be taken to mean she thought her usual washing of the broccoli would resolve what she thought was a minor problem.

"It made her skin crawl and it was horrifying yet she still expected them to send her another one ???"

Is it not possible she believed that this was a one in a million event.

Videos of a rat scurrying along a bakery shelf at Tesco Setia Alam in Shah Alam, Selangor.

QuoteThe videos were taken by a mother who was shopping at the hypermarket with her son

"Want to buy bread in Tesco? Think again," Alia Ismail wrote in a Facebook post.

Furthermore, when she informed Tesco employees regarding the rat, they admitted that the hypermarket was infested with rats

Seems an international problem for this company  :o

Bread roll anyone

QuoteA couple were shocked to discover a heaving 'grey mass' of insects in the middle of a cabbage they had bought from Tesco – the day after they had cooked and eaten some it.

He said his girlfriend Kya Cook, 22, made the revolting discovery when she was preparing a stir-fry and the bugs started spilling out onto their kitchen counter.

QuoteAppalled by the state of the store, Karen went straight to the manager to report what she had seen - however claims she was snubbed by management, who told her the confectionery littering the floor did not pose a risk to members of the public.

She said: "The manager seemed completely disinterested in what I had to say - when I pointed out a half-eaten doughnut on the floor he didn't even bother to pick it up until I raised it three or four times.

More than likely due to not maintaining the warehouse doors. One manager we had insisted on the remote light being on so that it opened and closed every time you passed it!! Lasted two weeks, then broke down, never to be repaired!! That was 5years ago! Rentokil are regulars at our store.

As for the big tv programme, that picked up on the amount of bacteria etc..on the trollies. Remember tesco saying they'd all be deep cleaned ??? ???  :-X :-X
